American Airlines introduced the first Boeing 777-300ER to its fleet

American is the first U.S. airline to order and take delivery of the Boeing 777-300ER, which will provide American's fleet flexibility in the network, while offering greater efficiency and better operating economy. "This is an important step that demonstrates how American is focused on putting our customers at the center of everything we do," said Virasb Vahidi, Chief Officer of American Commercial.

"This new aircraft will offer a new level of convenience, connectivity and convenience for our customers. We are particularly pleased to be among the first in the industry to offer a combination of flat seats with direct aisle access, international Wi-Fi, and entertainment edge at every seat. "

The American 777-300ER, which was delivered today without colors and traditional American brands, marks the beginning of the new type of airline fleet and points to the future of it. Inside, the cabin is configured with three classes, introducing lie-flat seats in First Class and Business Class.

The route Dallas / Fort Worth - Sao Paulo, Brazil, scheduled for January 31, 2013, will be the first to introduce the latest addition to the American fleet.

Subsequently, the aircraft is scheduled to fly to London Heathrow Airport from Dallas / Fort Worth and New York JFK. The new and modern aircraft will present a fresh paint on the exterior. After check in, American customers will be invited in through a dramatic arc, a decorated ceiling and mood lighting, to continue the modern experience and the look and feel of spaciousness. A bar at the Premium cabin stocked with snacks and refreshments will be the first among U.S. airlines, and adds another distinctive detail and luxury to the 777-300ER.

Entertainment options include up to 120 movies, 150 television shows and over 350 audio selections will be offered throughout the aircraft. Also, each seat will feature individual outlets of 110 volts AC and USB connectors for charging personal electronic devices.
