DAE happy with agreement between Suriname Airways and Insel Air

WILLEMSTAD - DAE is very happy to see that Surinam Airways concluded a Code sharing agreement with Insel Air after many years of both airlines operating alone between Curaçao and Paramaribo. Insel Air finally rushed and signed this agreement to start one day before DAE inaugurates its daily flights to Paramaribo.

"If they think this concern us or that we will change our strategy on this market, they should try something more creative" Ramiz noted. "I like to see that DAE once again makes our competitor run and jump, this time into a forced code sharing to try to compete with us, I love it when our competitor see us as a serious threat to their business that they feel the need to rush into an agreement to join forces against us, this is good for the flying customers.” This code sharing and everything else Insel Air is doing behind the curtains demonstrate that they fear us as a competitor, they know that we have a better product, better prices, better itinerary and better service. We are the better choice by far when traveling to Paramaribo, Venezuela, Aruba, Bonaire, Miami, and Santo Domingo and soon to Haiti direct from Curaçao, Miami, St Maarten and Santo Domingo. Just wait till they see the double round trip to St Maarten daily with free lunch and free open bar starting early next year“ Ramiz concluded with a big smile .
