InselAir back to Port-au-Prince
WILLEMSTAD, MIAMI – The local aviation company InselAir will resume its operations between Miami and the capital of the Haiti, Port-au-Prince. This is according to the airline’s Director of International Affairs, Edward Heerenveen.
The Curaçao airline will operate this route four times a week.
The airline was already operating on this route, but they stopped in 2014 because of competitors who, according to Heerenveen, they were operating as budget airlines and thus offering cheap tickets. “Now the prices are stable again so we can return,” said Heerenveen.
The 'new' route is also applied as an alternative to flying to Venezuela, which has significantly been reduced.
