InselAir stops its operations to Charlotte
WILLEMSTAD – The local aviation company InselAir stop its flights to Charlotte in the United States. Reason is the sharp drop in bookings on the twice-weekly connection to this destination.
The route is no longer profitable. As of January 19 there will be an end to this route, which began in 2011.
The announcement of InselAir is a stark contrast to the tourism master plan presented by the Minister of Economic Development, Stanley Palm. This plan relied heavily on more American tourist to the island.
