It is an opportunity to market products from Quindío to Central America

WILLEMSTAD - Gloria Reyes, manager of the airline Tiara Air Aruba, confirmed that as of October 25 they will cover the route between Armenia and Aruba.

"The inaugural flight will have 80 guests including the Prime Minister of Aruba, the Minister of Tourism, the Consul of Colombia in Aruba and the Director of Civil Aviation," said Reyes.

He said that with the start of these air operations everyone wins, both the island of Aruba and Colombia, because it opens up a whole range of commercial, tourism, health, student deals and export of products.

Luz Piedad Valencia, mayor of Armenia, said it is an opportunity to market products to Central America.

"It's great not only in tourism but also commercial, to export products from the Quindío directly to Aruba."

Although no details were released about the cost of tickets, it will be at a fair cost.
