JetBlue stop flights between Sint Martin and San Juan
PHILLIPSBURG - The US budget airline JetBlue recently announced that the route between St. Maarten and San Juan, capital of Puerto Rico, will be stopped.
This is because the flights are not sufficiently occupied. The last flight was on May 3. The flight, which lasts sixty minutes, is now once a day performed by an Embraer 190. The aircraft can accommodate one hundred passengers. By discontinuing the route Sint Maarten loses its daily service to San Juan.
Seaborne Airlines and Winair are still flying three times a week between the island and the capital of Puerto Rico, albeit with smaller aircrafts.
