Pawa boosts Santo Domingo as Caribbean air hub in Fitur and promotes other destinations
SANTO DOMINGO - Exposing the potential of Santo Domingo to become an air hub or hub of connections in the Caribbean has been one of the main objectives with which Pawa Dominicana participates in the main tourism fair in Spain and Latin America, Fitur 2017.
In the 37th edition of Fitur, which takes place in Madrid until January 22, the airline uses this platform to increase commercial relations with the international tour operators who have come to the event, sign agreements, and present the Dominican Republic as an attractive destination and great aerial connectivity.
According to the airline, these interactions will not only capture the European market in general, but specifically Spanish, which is the most important European market for the Dominican Republic, and the United States, which is the main tourist emitter to the country.
The stand of the Dominican flag airline is part of the 755 exhibitions of Fitur 2017, where they will display in detail the services offered to their passengers on land and during the flight, as well as the destinations where they currently operate. These are Santo Domingo, Aruba, Curaçao, Havana, St. Maarten, Puerto Rico, Port-au-Prince, Antigua and Miami.
