Ramiz inspecting new MD-83

MD83MIAMI – Nelson Ramiz of DAE left today for Miami to inspect the new MD-83 which will be operated by the sister companies DAE/Falcon Air. This will be the third MD83. The aircraft bearing registration number N307 has an interior which has been modified with big overhead bins and all seats freshly refurbished with blue leather seat covers.

The aircraft is being inspected by the FAA. It will be included on the DAE operations soon after it arrives in Curaçao and is inspected by the local authorities. The fleet of  DAE/FALCON will consist of 3 MD83’s that operates flights to Miami, Orlando, Houston, Manaus, Bogota from Curaçao and to Haiti and Aruba from Miami.

“Thanks to Falcon, Curaçao can continue increasing flights and opening new destinations and  air services to places like Houston, Orlando and further north on the east coast of USA despite of Category 2. Also this unique opportunity for Falcon/DAE allows DAE to add other destinations and open market opportunities very quickly by adding aircraft in a short time,” Ramiz explained.
