Rutaca twice weekly to Hato
WILLEMSTAD - Curaçao gained a new flight connection with the Venezuelan aviation company Rutaca. Starting today Rutaca will operate twice a week the route Caracas – Curaçao. This will be on Thursday and Sunday.
It’s the first time that this aviation company will operate scheduled service outside of Venezuela. It also operates to Colombia and Sint Maarten, but only chartered services. Rutaca was established and began operations in 1974. It currently operates scheduled and charter services throughout the Bolivarian country.
The aviation company was welcomed today by the Minister of Economic Development, Stanley Palm, the Director of the Curacao Tourism Bureau, Hugo Clarinda and the CEO of the Curaçao Airport Partners, Ralph Blanchard.
