The business aviation market will recover in Latin America by 2016

Executive aviationWILLEMSTAD – The business aviation market will recover in Latin America to pre-crisis levels until 2016, according to estimates announced today by Brazil's Embraer, one of the leading manufacturers of this type of aircraft.

The vice president of operations Embraer Executive Jets, Marco Tulio Pellegrini, said in a press conference that the market could expand at a rate of up to 3% over the next three years, which saw a "promising" calculation, but said that that growth depends on economic variables.

This forecast took into account the stage of stabilization of the economies of the region, control of inflation, less dependent on the U.S. and the China recovery, according to Pellegrini.

The head of Embraer warned, however, that the recent rise in the dollar against Latin American currencies is a factor that can "hinder" the expansion of the sale of aircraft and delay the market recovery until 2020.
