Harvest parade was a great success
WILLEMSTAD – Yesterday, Curaçao celebrated the traditional Marchadi Seu, or the great harvest parade, for the fortieth year in a row already. The harvest festival is always celebrated forty days after the Carnival of Easter Monday, to commemorate, celebrate and honor the harvest of the past. Especially young people danced through the streets in traditional colorful costumes.
Many people have commented that the harvest celebration this year was even more beautiful and more special than the Carnival parade.
