49.2 million profit state owned Curoil
WILLEMSTAD – The state owned oil distribution company Curoil has made a profit of 49.2 million guilders.
The millions of profit comes from sales on the international market. This despite the fall in oil prices worldwide. According to the company that distributes fuel products, the government earned 101 million guilders through their company.
That is about 11 million of income tax, 15 million in dividends, 27 million turnover tax and 48 million in excise duties. These turnover and excise taxes are included in a liter of gasoline or diesel and therefore paid by the consumer.
Curoil is very satisfied with the earnings and says it now time to invest in continuity and growth.
