Banking costs more money
WILLEMSTAD - Banking costs more and more money. In 2017 the costs for Maduro & Curiel’s Bank (MCB) increased by 12 percent, about 37 million guilders. Especially because of higher salaries and writing off dubious customers.
As a result, the net result of the bank declined considerably. 33 million less than last year. But the bank's equity is slowly growing to a billion. 6 percent were added last year.
