Curacao’s debt almost two billion
WILLEMSTAD - Curaçao may borrow a total of nearly 4 billion guilders at an average interest of 3 percent. In practice Curaçao borrows much less: only 56 percent of the maximum allowed.
This is according to a letter from the Minister of Kingdom Relations Ronald Plasterk to the Dutch Parliament. Curaçao has a debt in loans of almost two billion guilders. That has been more or less unchanged in the last few years.
