Dutch Prime Minister during investment conference for Curaçao

Mark_RutteTHE HAGUE - The Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte was present at the investment conference for Curaçao 'Bon biní for business' today.

‘Bon Bini for Business,’ Curaçao is open to business. That is the message that was central in a special conference in The Hague today. Premier Rutte was present with, among others, Prime Minister Rhuggenaath of Curaçao and Undersecretary Raymond Knops. Curaçao has enormous potential as an investment destination and today was the first impetus to stimulate the activity between the Netherlands and Curaçao.

Curaçao has a nice strategic location in an area where 44 million people live. It is, therefore, a fantastic stepping stone to Latin America, as the Netherlands is the Gateway to Europe. And that is our joint unique selling point: as the Kingdom of the Netherlands, we connect two continents and two cultures together.

“Prime Minister Rhuggenaath and I are determined to use the opportunities offered by economic cooperation within our Kingdom. My intention is, therefore, to travel to Curaçao with an investment mission early next year,” said Premier Rutte.
