No more import duties within the Kingdom

THE HAGUE - Dutch Junior Minister of Finance Weekers and Curaçao Minister of Finance Jamaloodin signed an agreement on trade in goods within the Kingdom. The essence of this agreement is that starting November 1 no import duties or other taxes have to be paid when goods arrive from another country within the Dutch Kingdom.

There are also agreements on tax-free transit between Curaçao and the Caribbean Netherlands, and vice versa. This agreement will be very beneficial for the trade between countries in the Dutch Kingdom. These countries are The Netherlands, Curacao, Aruba, Sint Maarten and the Caribbean Netherlands (Bonaire, Saba and Sint Eustatius).
