Transshipment Bullen Bay in danger because of conflict PDVSA and ConocoPhillips

BullenbaaiWILLEMSTAD - According to reliable sources, Curaçao is the victim of the conflict between Venezuela and ConocoPhillips. Since the seizure of the Americans, crude oil from Venezuela goes directly to China and not through the transshipment in Bullen Bay.

Venezuela pays its debts to China with crude oil. The seizure was recently lifted because Venezuela agreed to initiate payments to ConocoPhillips. The question is whether the transshipment of crude oil via Bullen Bay will start again.

The problems between the American giant and the Venezuelan State Oil Company has been a blow to the economy of the island. There are barely any oil tankers entering the harbor. Now Bullen Bay is also seeing the consequences of these problems.
