HBO enters fall with exciting new content during the month of September in the Caribbean
Lisa Kudrow returns to her role as Valerie Cherish in the second season of “The Comeback”. Travel inside the mind of a killer in the HBO Film “Nightingale”. Will Ferrell lives the all-star dream in the documentary “Ferrell Takes the Field”.

Lisa Kudrow returns for a second season of the Emmy® Award-nominated comedy series The Comeback (Sunday, September 6that 21:00 hrs. AST*) in her role as Valerie Cherish, a 40-year-old TV sitcom veteran who is desperate to revitalize her career. In an attempt to regain fame, she solicits the offices of HBO and is delighted at the offer to star in their new production, “Seeing Red.” She then convinces her former producer to create a "behind-the-scenes" special chronicling the experience, and soon finds trouble when the fame and attention begin. Created by Michael Patrick King (Emmy® winner for the HBO original series "Sex and the City”), with Lisa Kudrow and Dan Bucatinsky (Emmy® winner for “Scandal”) as executive producers.
In addition to The Comeback, new seasons of other exclusive series like Real Time with Bill Maher (Fridays at 22:00), Last Week Tonight with John Oliver (Sundays at 23:00), Ray Donovan (Mondays at 21:00) and Masters of Sex (Fridays at 21:00) continue throughout the month.

Comedian Will Ferrell visited five different spring training ballparks in Arizona for Ferrell Takes the Field (Saturday, September 12 at 22:00 hrs., simultaneously with the United States), a new HBO special from Funny Or Die, in partnership with Major League Baseball. Dedicating the special to the fight against cancer, Ferrell also honored the historic feat of Bert Campaneris five decades ago by playing every position on the field for ten different teams in the same day.
Starring the hilarious Melissa McCarthy and Academy Award winning actress Susan Sarandon, Tammy (Saturday, September 6that 21:00 hrs.) tells the story of a waitress (McCarthy) in a small burger joint who loses her job, wrecks her car and discovers her husband's infidelity with their neighbor. Looking to escape – but broke and carless—her only option is a trip with her grandmother, Pearl (Sarandon).
Seth Rogen and James Franco star in the comedy The Interview (Saturday, September 5 at 21:00 hrs.), which caused controversy worldwide and broke records internationally. Dave Skylark (Franco) and his producer Aaron Rapoport (Rogen) are the team behind the popular tabloid-TV show "Skylark Tonight." After learning that North Korea's Kim Jong Un (Randall Park) is a huge fan of the show, they successfully set up an interview with him, hoping to legitimize themselves as actual journalists. However, as Dave and Aaron prepare for their journey to Pyongyang, the CIA steps in, recruits them and assigns them an incredible mission: Assassinate the dictator.
Starring Oscar nominee Quvenzhané Wallis, Jamie Foxx, Rose Byrne, Cameron Diaz and Bobby Cannavale, Annie (Saturday, September 26 at 21:00 hrs) is a modern adaptation of the 1977 Broadway musical of same name. Nominated for a Golden Globe, the film tells the story of Annie (Wallis), who lives in an orphanage run by the greedy Miss Hanningan (Diaz). Her whole world changes when billionaire and mayoral candidate Will Stacks (Foxx) takes Annie to live with his family.
