“House of Lies” returns to HBO for its fifth season on April 11

House of LiesMIAMI - HBO continues to deliver some of television’s most influential and popular programming this spring, including a new season of the hit comedy series, House of Lies. Starring Don Cheadle in his four-time Emmy®-nominated and Golden Globe® winning performance as Marty Kaan, the series returns for its 10-episode fifth season onMonday, April 11th at 21hrs* in the Caribbean. House of Lies will also be available on HBO GO & HBO On Demand.
This new season finds Marty as a man with a singular focus – ascending from millionaire mogul to global dominator. No longer content with fleecing big-money clients, he’s upping the stakes in a highly calculated winner-take-all power play that will land him and the Pod – Jeannie, Clyde and Doug – in Cuba.

Alongside Cheadle, returning series regulars include : Kristen Bell, as Jeannie, Marty’s razor sharp partner and mother of his daughter; Emmy® winner Ben Schwartz as Clyde; and John Lawson as Doug. The cast also includes Emmy® winner Glynn Turman as Marty’s father Jeremiah, and Donis Leonard Jr. as his gender-fluid teenage son, Roscoe.
Guest stars for the fifth season include Emmy® winner Wanda Sykes (Alpha House) as Jeremiah’s love interest; Emmy®nominee Keegan-Michael Key (Key & Peele) as the CEO of a hair care line; and Emmy® nominee Ken Marino (Children’s Hospital) as a love interest for Jeannie. Emmy® nominee Malcolm-Jamal Warner (Major Crimes), John Cho (Star Trek), Donald Faison (Scrubs) and Nicky Whelan (Matador, Franklin & Bash) will also guest star.

Based on the successful tell-all book House of Lies: How Management Consultants Steal Your Watch and Tell You the Time by Martin Kihn, House of Lies is created and executive produced by Matthew Carnahan. Jessika Borsiczky, Don Cheadle and David Walpert return as executive producers for season five.
