Raymann’s show produced 20,000 guilders

WILLEMSTAD The last show of cabaret artist Jörgen Raymann on the Octagon Plaza at the Avila Beach Hotel last Sunday produced over 20,000 guilders. These proceeds will go to two charitable causes, namely Institute Cliniclowns Curaçao and Institute Felis. Raymann ended his theater career last weekend on Curaçao. He gave his ‘Frede’ show during three evenings, a show he performed over 200 times in Dutch theaters. On the last evening, his daughter sang a song for him. Within the framework of ‘the Day of the Laugh’, the proceeds of this performance went to two charitable causes. Main sponsor BDO added an extra donation in the form a giant trampoline for the children of the day care center Pasadia from the SGR-Group and donations to children’s floors of the St. Elisabeth Hospital and Fundashon Verriet.

The Cliniclowns work at five locations on Curaçao and make children laugh who are sick or need care. Institute Felis focuses on after-school relief and coaching children in Otrobanda. The institute is also a multi-functional center for mothers and local residents.
