As promised – CAP opens the Curaçao Mirador
WILLEMSTAD – Curaçao Airport Partners (CAP) completed another project at the Curaçao Airport. On Tuesday, May 12, CAP’s CEO, Ralph Blanchard together with the Minister of Economic Development, Stanley Palm officially opened the Curaçao Mirador. The Mirador is a spacious, comfortable and safe viewing area at the Curaçao International Airport. This project was offered as a gift to the people of the island.
“CAP is delighted to be able to offer the community of Curaçao a safe, pleasant and comfortable surroundings where one can enjoy the view of the airport,” said the airport’s CEO.
The viewing area has been developed into a comfortable modern area with much more space to sit and enjoy the view of arriving and departing planes. It also offers protection against the sun.
In addition, food and beverages will be sold during office hours.
The construction work started in January of this year. This is the first phase of the mirador. CAP will continue building a second level or more space in that same area in 2016.
