PVV boycotts Kingdom consultation because of Wiels

Dutch ParliamentTHE HAGUE, WILLEMSTAD - The PVV will not participate in the Inter-Parliamentary Kingdom Consultation (IPKO) next week, because the Curaçao’s “soon to be Prime Minister” Helmin Wiels will be present. This is what the PVV party said last Sunday.

The party is angry because Wiels said last year that he will provide the body bags in which they will send back the Makamba's (Dutch) to the Netherlands. The government saw no reason to prosecute Wiels for that statetment. PVV MP, Sietse Fritsma refuses to sit at the table with "a man who wants the Dutch apparently dead. Wiels has severely threatened the Dutch people with his racist and horrible calls to violence. "

Next Tuesday to Friday there will be consults between the Parliaments of the Netherlands, Curaçao, Aruba and St. Maarten in The Hague. Fritsma: "Wiels will come now as delegate of Curaçao in the land of Makamba's baking sweet rolls and make the IPKO a charade in which no Dutchman should join."

Also Peter van Dijk, PVV spokesman for Kingdom Relations in the Senate wants to boycott the meeting. The consultation usually takes place twice a year: it is not clear whether the PVV will also boycott the next consultation.
