12 years sought against ‘Gamba’ in connection with murder Conception
WILLEMSTAD - The Public Prosecutor (OM) demanded 12 years in prison against Keith Alden Kemba Godwin alias Gamba. This for involvement in the murder of Raikel Conception.
Conception was found on January 27, 2013 in a boat called 'No Limit' in Caracas Bay and was the first murder victim of the year. The OM claims that Gamba has committed the murder along with Elvis Kuwas, who has now been convicted of the murder.
Kuwaswas the gunman, just as he assassinated the former political leader, Helmin Wiels and Gamba was the driver who delivered the firearm too. Kuwas and Gamba received a payment of 75,000 guilders for the job, reportedly from Luigi “Pretu” Florentina, who committed suicide on September 6, 2013 in his cell in Barber.
Gamba was arrested last June in the United States and was extradited only in April this year to Curaçao.
The Prosecution also announced today to open an investigation into the possible involvement of Gamba in the gold robbery on November 30, 2012 from the ship 'Summer Bliss' at the harbor in Punda. 70 gold bars were stolen back then. Two persons have mentioned the names of four possible culprits, including the name of Gamba.
