Bribery by Rozier must be proved by MFK members themselves

Dean RozierWILLEMSTAD – The Court of Justices has asked the MFK members, Gilmar Pisas, Monique Koeyers-Felida and Rudney Garmers to present more concrete evidences, which proves that Dean Rozier has tried to bribe them.

The former MFK member and Parliamentary faction leader, Dean Rozier apparently tried to bribe his three colleagues so they can overthrow Schotte’s government. But this was not sufficiently proved, according to the magistrate.

According to the three, during the months of June and July 2012, Rozier tried to pay them 500,000 guilders per person to drop their support for Gerrit Schotte and his government. In August of that year Pisas filed a complaint against Rozier, who categorically denies these accusations.

The burden of proof now lies with the prosecution, the judge ruled.
