Complaint against ‘Peppie’ put forward, Dean Fiévez resigns

Caroline-FievezWILLEMSTAD - A majority of the Bar Association finds that the complaint against Eldon Peppie ' Sulvaran should be put forward. This was decided by the members of the Bar Association during a meeting at the Avila Hotel yesterday. Dean Fievez Caroline, who already made her position available, resigned.

Fievez filed a complaint against Sulvaran last month following various statements made by him in the media. For example, he claimed that Emsley Tromp is behind the murder of Helmin Wiels, but did not substantiate this claim with facts. He also said that Tromp is corrupt and that there is sufficient evidence for a criminal case. The complaint will be treated in court on February 21.

However, the Dean was not free from blame. She did not consult with the Board of the Order about the complaint. The vice dean Everett Wilsoe resigned as a protest. Fievez also wrote in an internal email that Sulvaran and his allies should not be made aware of their payment dues so they would not have the right to vote during the meeting. Fievez announced to stand behind the complaint, but to resign because the discussion of the complaint against Sulvaran is partly focused on the Dean’s behavior.
