Corallo Sr. wants OM to give priority to his case against his son
PHILLIPSBURG – The father of the gambling boss Francesco Corallo, Gaetano Corallo, has filed a complaint against the Public Prosecution (OM) in Sint Maarten. This is because the claim against his son has not been treated.
Almost a month before Italy lodged an extradition request against the millionaire, the father filed a complaint against his son at the OM of fraud and embezzling funds. The facts presented by Corallo Sr. go back to almost 30 years ago.
Francesco Corallo was arrested on January 13 this year at the request of the Italian authorities for tax evasion, fraud and bribery. Corallo Sr. wants his case his complaint to be treated first, before a hearing takes place on the extradition. This is according to the lawyer Roland Duncan.
