Huggins: ‘police investigation into Wiels’ assassination thwarted’

ImageProxy-131WILLEMSTAD – There are persistent rumors for some time now that the investigation team investigating the murder of the Curaçao politician Helmin Wiels, is being thwarted. Police have now shown that this is indeed the case. Police spokesman Reginald Huggins recently stated in the local morning newspaper Extra that there are people who are trying to thwart the investigation. This, according to Huggins may have delayed the investigation and is also costing more money.

“When the investigation is complete, I will disclose the names of the persons who are thwarting the investigation, " Huggins said.

The Curacao Police Corps (KPC) announced that they raided two houses with the help of the Criminal Investigation Corporation Team (RST) in connection with the murder of Raul “Bolle” Martinez who is a suspect in the Wiels’ case.
