Jamaloodin’s incarceration prolonged
WILLEMSTAD - Former Minister of Finance, George Jamaloodin’s incarceration has been extended by eight more days. The former minister was arrested last Saturday after he turned himself in because his life partner accused him of assault and kidnapping.
It’s not the first time that Jamaloodin is arrested. He was arrested on suspicion of involvement in the Maximus case. In that case, the prosecutors are investigating the intellectual authors of the assassination of the former political leader, Helmin Wiels.
Jamaloodin was released, but remains a suspect in that case.
