OM demands lower punishments Bandera Grill case

Public ProsecutorWILLEMSTAD - The Public Prosecution Service has demanded lower sentences in the Banderagrill case. The case is against a couple that is suspected of human trafficking. The couple had Venezuelan ladies working as prostitutes. According to sources, these ladies were forced to work as prostitutes on the island.

Earlier the man got 6 months in prison and his wife received 3 months conditionally. Now the prosecutor demands 3 months for the man and 1 month for the woman.

The court announced that the ruling will be on July 19.
