Second day trial case against former Prime Minister
WILLEMSTAD - Today, is the second day in court in the Babel case. In that case former Prime Minister Gerrit Schotte and his life partner Cicely van der Dijs are suspected of money laundering and bribery.
On this last hearing the prosecutor reacts to the statements made by the lawyer of Gerrit Schotte and Cicely van der Dijs, Eldon Sulvaran. Sulvaran may then respond again.
The last word will be given to the former Prime Minister and his life partner. It is not expected that they will make use of this right. So far, they relied on their right to remain silent.
