Suspects Andante case want closure
WILLEMSTAD - The defendants in the Andante case want the case to be dropped and their names cleared. This was recently stated by the lawyer of the two suspects.
The case revolves around diluting crude oil with inferior materials including asphalt from the asphalt lake and then resell this mixture. In mid-April, there were six raids that took place in homes and offices of various agencies including PdVSA and former executives Jason Debrot and Karel Aster.
According to sources, the Andante investigation may take until the end of 2017.
