Aqualectra borrows 325 million guilders
WILLEMSTAD - Aqualectra borrowed 325 million guilders from the Maduro & Curiel's Bank and the First Caribbean International Bank. Part of the money is for the refinancing of old loans, but another part is for new investments.
The details, such as maturity and interest rate of the financing agreement, have not been disclosed. Both banks say they have confidence in the plans of Aqualectra and in the economy of the island.
