Aqualectra must invest in new water plant
WILLEMSTAD – In 2018 the utility company Aqualectra will have to invest in a new reverse osmosis water plant. Currently there are two plants at Mundu Nobo, which supply Aqualectra with water. The contracts with both plants will expire on September 12, 2018.
The Minister of Finance, Dr. Jose Jardim indicates that if Aqualectra has the financial means, they will buy the new reverse osmosis plant with a capacity of 8,000 cubic meters per day. The utility company will not acquire the old plant. Instead, they will have to buy a new reverse osmosis plant, naturally depending on the financial means the company has for this investment.
