Aqualectra plans to reduce its workforce by 180
WILLEMSTAD – The utility company Aqualectra wants to reduce its workforce. They plan to dismiss 180 employees. This is according to a leaked report which is in the hands of the media.
The majority of the group will soon leave the company because of age and pension. But redundancies cannot be excluded.
The introduction of new technology requires less and also a different type of employee, said the company in their report. This also means that jobs will be added but as was announced, a different type of job.
The reorganization with 180 people or less, should be ready in 2021.
