CAP contributes to fundashon Alton Paas, thanks to petty cash deposited by passengers in collecting boxes upon departure

Aalton PaasWILLEMSTAD - Curaçao Airport Partners (CAP) made a donation of Nafl. 3.500,- to Fundashon Alton Paas.   This donation by CAP, thanks to the contribution of the passenger will contribute to the quest by the foundation to send 3 young men with spinal cord injury (SCI) to Project Walk in CarlsbadCalifornia, as a first step in introducing these types of modern developments in cure to Curaçao.  This donation is made possible thanks to the generous contribution of change that departing passengers deposit in collecting boxes in the departure hall of the terminal building at our airport.

FundashonAltonPass has been established with the specific aim to raise awareness about spinal cord injuries and other neurological problems and to promote a better quality of life for people with spinal cord injuries (SCI) and other physical disabilities.  The foundation set out on a quest to take a first step in bringing to Curaçao modern advance treatment to SCI, so the whole community can benefit of this medicine called intensive exercise.  Persons with SCI on our island will get an opportunity, for the first time, to do something for their health for a better quality and even the possibility to fully recover and walk again on their own strength.

Departing passengers leaving our island most of the time carry change they will not use once they have reached their home.  CAP therefore has placed at strategic points boxes to collect petty cash, mostly local currency.

The small contribution of many amounted to the substantial amount of Nafl.3.500,-.  CAP would like to thank the travelers that have contributed for CAP to be able to contribute to this most cause important cause pursued by Fundation Alton Paas.
