CAP distances itself from publication in media

airportWILLEMSTAD - Curaçao Airport Partners (CAP) wishes to note significant inaccuracies in the interpretation of the contents of an informative email sent by CAP to the Minister of Economic Development regarding the General Aviation Center under development by CAP at Curaçao International Airport.  CAP denies the accuracy of quotes attributable to its CEO and highlighted in the article.

The article in question inaccurately quotes the contents of an informative e-mail that was sent by CAP CEO to highlight a specific, and unfortunate, opportunity that was lost this past weekend due to delay in completion of the new General Aviation Center  caused by administrative processes beyond the control of CAP.  The new General Aviation Center was on schedule by CAP for completion to accommodate North Sea Jazz Festival jet visitors.  Under no reasonable interpretation was this information offered in any stern manner, as was insinuated in the article. CEO of Curaçao Airport Partners was not interviewed by the media nor were any quotes provided by CAP to the media for any such publication.

Although CAP does feel that not having the General Aviation Center opened for the recent festival was a missed opportunity, it does not seek press regarding such issues. Further, CAP has established a professional and cooperative relationship with the Minister of Economic Development focused on continuing progress and development of the airport, and distances itself from the accuracy of the recent publication in the media.
