WILLEMSTAD- Travelers going through the departure hall at our airport will soon enjoy their stay in the hall at leisure in the new and modern chairs acquired by Curaçao Airport Partners (CAP.) CAP invested Nafl.600.000,- in 550 brand new chairs that will substantially improve not only the passengers experience but also the appearance of our departure hall .  The new chairs are one of the best of chairs used in departure halls worldwide.

The chairs will be installed during third quarter of this year and will be in place for the end of the year season of traveling. This is another milestone in the continuous effort by CAP to improve the quality of the experience at the Curacao airport.

Tobias Markert Chief Operations Officer of CAP said: “We have been busy for a while shopping for the best of chairs to place in the departure hall at the airport.  We will purchase these chairs from Vitra, a supplier out of Switzerland.  The chairs are very comfortable as they are made out of polyurenthane (type of foam) and are spring-mounted. They will be of a dark blue color suitable to the ambiance in our departure hall.  The chairs will be very easy to clean and won’t stain.  They will be equipped with electricity outlets for passengers with mobile devices to use.  Curaçao will have reason to be proud about our departure hall.”

All chairs in the departure hall at the CuraçaoAirport will be replaced starting as of September.  The replacement of the chairs in the departure hall is just one of the many initiatives initiated by CAP to improve both the airport facility as the experience of those that make use of our airport.
