Curacao Refinery and PDVSA will meet today

WILLEMSTAD – According to a report in the Papiamento newspaper Extra, the public company Curacao Refinery (RdK) and the Venezuelan company Petrolios de Venezuela Sociedad Anonima (PDVSA) will meet today to discuss some important issues concerning the oil refinery. These issues are the “Build, Own and Operate” (BOO) and the Cat Cracker.

In the meeting today both parties will discuss a letter which was sent by PDVSA stating that starting the machinery was not the fault of BOO/CRU. RdK and PDVSA will also discuss how to continue cooperating and how to ensure the operations of the refinery. This is necessary especially after rumors were circulating about some discontentment on PDVSA’s side. Apparently after this meeting there will be some announcements between PDVSA and RdK which could shock the community.
