Dean Rozier going abroad

WILLEMSTAD - The current president of parliament Dean Rozier will leave the island. This is according to a report from de Algemeen Dagblad.

He will sell his family business Kortijn Ice, which recently was the target of arson. What Rozier will do abroad is not known. He said that there are great opportunities for him. Rozier denies that his departure has nothing to do with the problems with political party MFK – he is not fleeing. "I just want peace," he says. He further said that he’s pleased that the interim government has passed the law on screening in the interests of the people, so Curacao can have an honest government. Today Rozier will talk to Acting Governor Adele van der Pluijm-Vrede, who is busy with her consultation rounds to form a government.
