Double bad luck for local aviation company
WILLEMSTAD – Yesterday it was double bad luck for the local aviation company InselAir. An aircraft type MD80 had to return to Miami because of a fire alarm in one of the engines. The representatives of the aviation company indicated that it was a false alarm and that there was no fire in the engine.
Some passengers published their experiences on social media indicating that they did see a fire in the engine. They also said that the airport fire trucks were ready when the plane landed in Miami.
The same thing happened at the airport in Aruba, but with an aircraft type Fokker 50 of the local aviation company Insel Air, which had not left yet. Also, there was a report in the cockpit that one of the engines is on fire.
