During Campaign launch event: NAGICO announces revolutionary changes in the insurance industry
Now keep "no claim discount’ after an accident and no deductible of 150 guilders for a third party claim.
WILLEMSTAD – Nagico Insurances continues to innovate with new products and services. This time Nagico introduces a revolutionary change on the insurance market across the ABC islands. From now on customers with a vehicle insurance policy with NAGICO do not lose their ‘no claim discount’ when they are involved in an accident even if they are at fault. In addition, they do not have to pay the 150-guilder deductible when submitting a third-party claim.
Drs. Detlef Hooyboer, Managing Director of Nagico Insurances in Aruba, Curaçao and Bonaire, made this announcement yesterday afternoon during a presentation for insurance agents and brokers at Amazia Restaurant in the Amicorp building. Everyone was impressed by the announcement, which will without a doubt benefit the customers and change the insurance market across the ABC Islands in a revolutionary way. Besides this innovative change, the company also launched a new campaign in which real customers share their own experiences with the products and services provided by NAGICO.
“We decided on this change because in the course of many years we noted that customers were disappointed in the fact that they would pay insurance for so many years on end, only to have their premium increased at the first accident due to the loss of their ‘no claim discount’. The same disappointment could be noted when a customer would submit a claim for an accident in which he was not even at fault, but still had to pay the third party deductible simply because they submitted the claim. By the elimination of the third party deductible we have set the trend for changes on the insurance market and we are also able to process claimsmuch more efficiently handling claims within 5 working days,” said drs. Detlef Hooyboer. With this change all new and existing customers with Nagico vehicle insurance now enjoy the same benefit of not losing their ‘no claim discount’ and not having to pay the third party deductible of 150 guilders when they cause an accident.
This announcement by Nagico comes at exactly the right moment. Motorists are currently paying their motor vehicle taxes and therefore are also purchasing or renewing their car insurance. The Nagico Insurance Package is an excellent reason for motorists to reconsider their current insurance. In addition to gaining these innovative new benefits, the trust and loyalty that the company has earned from its current customers are definitely a good reason to join the NAGICO family.
Nagico Insurances was founded in St. Maarten in 1982 and over the years the company has expanded into twenty different territories across the Caribbean. It is one of the largest insurance companies in Dutch Caribbean, with over 150 million dollars in premiums. International ‘AM Best’ rated Nagico Insurances as a solid company. With the acquisition of the British American Insurance Company, Nagico further expanded its product range in the Dutch Caribbean and now the company also offers life insurance and health insurance throughout the ABC islands.
The company started its expansion into the Dutch Caribbean region by launching in Curaçao in 1995 and later extended to the surrounding islands, starting with Aruba in 2004 and later, in 2008, opening a branch in Bonaire. Nagico’s office in Curaçao is located at the Dr. H. Fergusonweg #10
