ENNIA opens first self-service insurance center in Curaçao

WILLEMSTAD - October 6th, 2015: ENNIA, the largest insurance company in the Dutch Caribbean, has recently shown its commitment to the local market and innovation by opening the first self-service insurance center in Otrobanda. As of October 1st the state-of-the-art branch will provide more convenience for clients and quicker service as customers are able to buy insurance, update their policies and pay premiums at the touch of a button. The grand opening will take place on October 9th.
With increasingly high levels of internet accessibility, together with the proliferation of devices that support connectivity and interaction, today’s consumer is more informed and empowered, with product, service and information choices available at the touch of a button. ENNIA, the leading insurance company in the Dutch Caribbean, has recognized the importance of this type of customer and recently opened a new self-service center in the district of Otrobanda.
This bold move makes ENNIA the first insurance company in Curaçao to have a branch office in addition to their headquarters. However, the launch of this new office goes beyond an additional location. With this new branch concept ENNIA debuts a 21st-century insurance user experience that is the first of its kind on Curaçao. By leveraging cutting-edge design and technology, ENNIA customers are able to interact with the insurer in new and exciting ways. “There are many services offered at the branch. Customers can pay their insurance premiums, buy new insurance and update their existing insurance policies to fit their needs. The new branch is designed to serve as an online self-service office. The state-of-the-art computer stations allow ENNIA customers to use all self-service insurance applications free of charge. In case the customer needs additional assistance ENNIA insurance experts are on hand to answer questions and to offer advice,” says Gilbert Martina, Senior Managing Director of ENNIA. “The reason we opened a branch is to serve our communities better and we believe we have achieved that goal with our new Otrobanda branch. It’s an ideal location as it is a high-traffic area frequented by a majority of the local population.” Customers will still need to visit the headquarters if they want to submit a claim as claims are only accepted and processed at the headquarters.
The new office opened for business on October 1st, 2015. The normal office hours will be the same as the ENNIA headquarters; 8 am to 4:30 pm. The branch is accessible by public transportation and by car. Free parking is available for ENNIA customers directly across the street from the office.
