Export PDVSA drops significantly in June

RefineryWILLEMSTAD - The exports of the Venezuelan state oil company PDVSA decreased by 32 percent in the first half of June compared to last month.

The decline appears to be a direct effect of the legal actions of ConocoPhillips. Internal reports from PDVSA show that there have been serious delays with shipments that have led to declines in exports.

PDVSA exported 765,000 barrels per day (bpd) of raw and refined products in the first two weeks of June, a decrease of 368,000 barrels compared to May.
