Fourteen new coast guards sworn in

kustwacht2-468x295WILLEMSTAD - The Coast Guard Caribbean (KWCARIB) has, since recently, fourteen new coastguard officials. The participants of the Coast Guard training process have now the theoretical part of their degree.

During the inauguration, the participants were addressed by Deputy Director Coastguard Hans Schreuder. "You have a bright future in the Coast Guard with ample career opportunities in both the sailing and flying units as well as within the staff. But your future is in your own hands," Schreuder said.

The Coast Guard officials are now in their internship period of eleven months at the strongholds of St. Maarten and Aruba.
