Gasoline price plummets by 40 cents
WILLEMSTAD - The Ministry of Finance has announced that the prices of fuel and electricity will go down next month, while water will become more expensive.
Gasoline will be much cheaper, by no less than forty cents per liter. Drivers are now paying 2.01 guilders per liter. Next month it will be 1.61.
Diesel will be slightly cheaper, a bit more than 3 cents, from 1.13 to 1.09 guilders. Electricity will go down by more than four cents per kilowatt hour. Currently its 55 cents per kWh. Next month it will be about 51 cents.
A cubic meter of water is going up in price, however. Now it’s 9.82 guilders and next month it will be 9.84 guilders per cubic meter.
