Green Force exports batteries for recycling
WILLEMSTAD - Environmental and recycling company Green Force has exported the first 40 foot container with used batteries. The old batteries are collected for recycling and will be transported abroad by boat. The plastic and lead will be reused.
Green Force shows via a press release that they only export to countries where there are strict controls on the environment, where no child labor occurs and where modern slavery does not exist. The companies that recycle the products are also ISO certified.
Since November, the environmental company has a recycling spot at ZAP batteries in Zeelandia. There, people can return the old battery of their car, boat or truck for a fee.
