Highest point second phase Brakkeput

DSCN1354WILLEMSTAD – Last Friday, the chairman of the board of the Government Housing Organization (FKP), Urvin Macaay together with the Director Arthur Con, celebrated the highest point of the second phase of the social housing project in Brakkeput (East side of the island).

The project was created by an agreement with the government called "Public Private Partnership". This means that the government makes available the land and that the FKP in turn allows for the further development of infrastructure and the construction and completion of the houses.

The houses are constructed in the 'Turn Key' style which means that there are upfront about the construction agreements with customers and can be delivered to them completely ready. The houses are built especially for the middle class and are financed from funds generated for that purpose.

DSCN1302The project will take between 8 and 12 months and there will be five different models of houses constructed.
