JCI UC launches a new project: CurBiz 2016

WillemstadWILLEMSTAD - JCI stands for Junior Chamber International. This is an international non-profit organization that uphold the philosophy of uniting all sectors within a community with the main objective to create positive change. JCI United Citizens of Curaçao (JCI UC) fulfills its aim by executing different successful projects such as: feria di konosementu, the golden voice of tourism of curaçao, as well as manera mi bos no tin dos. All of these are for certain projects that have made great impact and changed the lives of many people in our society.

On upcoming May 30 JCI UC in collaboration with Curaçao Development Institute (CDI), Dutch Caribbean Securities Exchange (DCSX) together with Ministry of Economic Development (MEO) will officially launch a new project. This project is entitled as: CurBiz 2016, and focuses primarily on the business sector.

CurBiz 2016 facilitates everyone who is wandering around with an innovative business concept with an encounter in front of a group of investors for possible financing opportunity. So this is the perfect moment for YOU who has the ambition to become an entrepreneur but is still looking for funds to make it a success. The aim of this project is to give as many people as possible the opportunity to realize their dream as an entrepreneur in order for them to be able to impact their life, our economy, and to eventually contribute with the development of our dushi Kòrsou.

During the info night session on upcoming Monday, May 30, all the information regarding the project will be shared such as: how to participate and what does the project offers to its participants. In addition, there will be keynote speakers to enlighten the audience about their own experiences as entrepreneurs with the hope to inspire those who are present. After this guests will be able to socialize and share thoughts with one another. The info night session will take place at Amazia (in the building of Amidos) from 18:00 till 20:00. Entrance is completely free of charge.
