King William-Alexander and Queen Maxima will visit Curacao next November
THE HAGUE/WILLEMSTAD – Prime Minister Mark Rutte informed today during a press conference that King William-Alexander and Queen Maxima will visit the Dutch Caribbean this coming November. The visit will be from November 14 till the 24th. They will visit all the islands. Prime Minister Rutte explained that the installation of the new King is becoming an exciting event among the people of the islands.
In Curacao there will be different activities pertaining to the throne change. There will be different events on the island on the day that William-Alexander is crowned King of the Dutch Kingdom. This will be the first King in over a hundred years.
The Dutch Government has announced that the price tag of the crowning ceremonies will be about 5 million euro. How much this even will cost in Curacao is not yet known.
