Launch professional film workshops
WILLEMSTAD - The Curaçao Film Institute has launched the Hollywood-based Relativity Education Certification Programs on Curaçao on Thursday evening March 17, 2016. The workshops are aimed at the further professionalization of the local workforce by providing attendees with essential skills necessary for employment on professional (international) film and television production sets.
The Curaçao Film Institute views the existence of a well-trained local employment pool as an important factor in the promotion of Curaçao as a regional hub for media production. The Relativity Workshops will cover the disciplines Grip & Electric and On Location Production Coordinating and will take place over the course of the three consecutive weekends. The workshops are made possible by the Curaçao Film Institute and due to a generous contribution from the Prins Bernhard Culture Fund Caribbean Territories.
